We hope to use our surgery website as a way of presenting all our patients with an up to date resource for all information relating to our practice. We will keep it current with any news, developments & details that are relevant to the practice & our patients.
As well as a source of information about our Practice, the staff & the services we provide, we hope you use the website as a useful resource with links to other reliable websites for health related information. If there is topical health information we will also add this to the website.

As of 25th May 2018 the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will be replacing the Data protection directive 95/46/EC. It is designed to harmonise data privacy laws across Europe, to protect and empower all EU citizens’ data privacy and to reshape the way in which organisations across the region approach Data Privacy. Please read our Privacy Information Leaflet below for further guidance.
We offer extended hours for our patients on Mondays and Wednesdays every week. This is carried our by our Practice Nurse. Times are as follows: Mondays 18:30 – 19:30 and Wednesdays 18:30 – 19:45. During these times there is also face-to-face access to our reception.
The Practice will be closed for Protected Learning Time (PLT) on the following dates:
- Wednesday 22nd May 2019
- Tuesday 25th June 2019
- Tuesday 16th July 2019
- Thursday 24th October 2019
- Wednesday 5th February 2020
- Wednesday 11th March 2020
On these dates the practice will close at 12:00pm and will reopen the following day at 8:00am as usual. If you happen to require an emergency appointment Please call NHS 111
Care Quality Commission
We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (www.cqc.org.uk) and have our inspection on 13th September 2016. We have a feedback box at our reception desk so please do fill out a card if possible. Please contact us if you would like any more information on this.
Due to PCT list cleansing project annually Park View is currently updating the system and we need to check that registration details are correct. Please could you give your correct address and most importantly your correct telephone number both landline (if applicable) and mobile. If you have not visited with in the last year please make an appointment to see our nurse for a general health check (for all ages even children).
PLEASE NOTE: If no update or response is received to this request, the consequence could be removal from the practice list and patients will have to re register to receive our service.
Each of our patients has a named and accountable GP responsible for their overall care at Park View Surgery. If patients have a preference as to which GP has responsibility for their overall care, they are free to inform us and we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate their request.
